Processing time
Orders ship within 2–4 business days of purchase. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as your order is on its way.
Packaging
Every record ships in a rigid mailer with cardboard stiffeners on both sides, sealed to prevent shifting in transit — protecting against the most common shipping damage: seam splits, corner dings, and ring wear. CDs and cassettes ship in padded mailers with additional protection around the case.

All orders ship via USPS at a flat rate based on the format and quantity of items in your order:

Ordering multiple items in a single purchase is the best way to save on shipping — the more you add to one order, the less you pay per item.
Domestic shipping only
At this time, we only ship within the United States and are not able to ship internationally.
Tracking
Every order includes tracking, emailed to you as soon as your package ships.
Damaged in transit
If your order arrives damaged, keep all original packaging and photograph the damage as soon as you notice it, then contact us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll work with you on a replacement or refund depending on the item’s availability.
Condition disputes
If an item arrives in noticeably worse condition than its listed grade, reach out with photos and we’ll make it right — replacement, partial refund, or full refund, depending on what you prefer and what’s available.
Grading Guide
Understanding how we grade helps you know exactly what you’re getting before you buy. All items are visually graded — inspected individually, not spot-checked in a batch — and any specific issues (surface noise, seam splits, writing, etc.) are called out directly in that item’s listing on top of the grade below.
Grades are shown as Media Grade / Sleeve Grade — for example, “NM / VG+” means the vinyl itself is Near Mint, but the sleeve shows some wear.
Vinyl Grading Scale
| Grade | What it means |
|---|---|
| Mint (M) | A perfect, brand-new copy that has never been played. Still sealed, or opened with zero visible wear, handling marks, or blemishes. This grade is used rarely and conservatively. |
| Near Mint (NM or M-) | Looks and plays like new. May have been played once or twice with proper care. No visible marks, scuffs, or scratches under normal light; original paper inner sleeve intact. |
| Very Good Plus (VG+) | A well cared-for record with minor signs of use. May show slight surface marks that don’t affect the listening experience, with minimal background noise on quiet passages and no skips. |
| Very Good (VG) | Shows more obvious signs of play — visible surface marks, groove wear, or light scuffing. Audible surface noise during quiet parts, but the music remains the main focus, with no skips or repeats. |
| Good Plus (G+) / Good (G) | A well-worn record that plays through without skipping but with noticeable surface noise, crackle, or scratches throughout — fully playable, but with a lower-fidelity listening experience. |
| Fair (F) / Poor (P) | Heavily worn, possibly with skips, repeats, or warping that affects playback. Rarely listed at this grade except for rare or hard-to-find pressings, and always clearly noted. |
Sleeve / Cover Grading Scale
Sleeve condition is graded independently, using the same terms.

| Mint (M) | No wear at all: sharp corners, no creases, no ring wear, no writing. |
| Near Mint (NM) | Barely noticeable wear; sharp corners with maybe the faintest edge wear. |
| Very Good Plus (VG+) | Minor ring wear, slight corner wear, or a small amount of shelf wear. |
| Very Good (VG) | Visible ring wear, seam wear, or corner dings; may have light writing or a promo stamp. |
| Good Plus (G+) / Good (G) | Noticeable wear: seam splits (noted if present), heavier ring wear, creasing, or writing. |
| Fair (F) / Poor (P) | Heavy damage: significant seam splits, water damage, tape repairs, or missing pieces — always noted explicitly in the listing. |
CD Grading Scale
| Grade | What it means |

| Mint (M) | Sealed or like-new; disc has no visible marks. |
| Near Mint (NM) | Disc plays perfectly, with at most a light hairline scuff that doesn’t affect playback. |
| Very Good Plus (VG+) | Minor surface scuffs from normal handling; plays without skipping. |
| Very Good (VG) | Visible scratches that don’t cause skips; case may show light wear. |
| Good (G) | Noticeable scratches; disc still plays but may have occasional skips. |
Case, tray, and booklet condition are noted separately (e.g. “cracked jewel case,” “booklet has creasing”) whenever they differ from the disc grade.
Cassette Grading Scale

| Near Mint (NM) | Played sparingly; tape and shell show no meaningful wear. |
| Very Good Plus (VG+) | Light handling wear on the shell or case; tape plays cleanly. |
| Very Good (VG) | Visible shell wear or a worn spine card; tape may have minor wow/flutter. |
| Good (G) | Noticeable wear; tape is playable but may show some audio degradation. |

Items are graded conservatively, and any specific issues (skips, seam splits, writing, etc.) are called out directly in the listing regardless of the grade shown.
